My University Experience!

Hello there ππ!

Here is your friend Mahomed.π I will be here eating 5 minutes of your time today, may be more. π
It is my first time writing a blog and now I notice how challenging it can be to write about ourselves for the first time on a such platform with the large possibility of being read by hundreds of people, I hope it becomes as easy as learning bicycle riding over time.
Life Before University
I am a professional Accountant, who very early fell in love with technology back in the time of Nokia and mig33. π I always wondered how technology changed our lives by it possible to connect and talk to people far away from me. That is why after finishing my Advanced Professional Course in Accountancy and Management in 2015, I decided to pursue a degree in Computer Engineer at the most popular University of Mozambique βEduardo Mondlane University- in the capital of Mozambique (Maputo), unfortunately, I failed as expected π I had a very little knowledge about Math and Physics. But that did not stop me from continuing trying, and guess what??? I failed for more than 3 consecutive years π . After my last attempt in 2019, I decided to give up and try to focus on my work, which at that time was requiring a lot of time and dedication from me than ever.
Dreaming Again
Finally, after 1 year, in my daily break time hours... Googling about Computer Science and other related topics, I came across IOU- International Open University (Formerly Islamic Online University). Did even stop to think twice, I applied at that moment, for BScIT (Bachelor of Science in Information Technology), and from that day I merged into the world I always dreamed about.
The Shock of Reality
I never thought that Online University could be hard. Being in a classroom in the presence of colleagues and teachers makes the learning process much easier, and the ability to interact and discuss problems or topics that were not directly perceived is an advantage that in most cases E-learning does not guarantee, E-learning demand a lot of effort and dedication to achieve the desired result. In my first semester, I enrolled in CMP102, CMP103, and MAT101.
Remember that I failed Eduardoβs Mondlane University because of Math and Physics?? Exactly, I did not solve my problems with Math, however, I decided to enroll in MAT101 or Calculus and Analytical Geometry (Thinking that as it was Online, it could be easier to make it, but I was wrong) From this point, I discovered that if I want to be at a globally accepted level of proficiency in any field of study, I must give all I can give because nothing happens in a pass of Magic or in a blink of an eye.
My journey in E-learning is always bringing me good moments and amazing people. Today I decided to read more (I took C++ as my primary learning language), improve my ability to problem-solving regardless of the language, and stop being lazy about solving problems proposed on each covered topic mostly found in Programming Books. Today I stop from here, hoping to continue writing about my Journey as a student of BScIT. Ahh! This month I will enroll in my 4th semester and I will take DSA as one of the courses.
Thank you for reading, see you next time. ππ
